GREEN GATE!

Here I am again asking to re-open the green gate! I know there is a security problem at least that is what I am told, however I AM ASKING that we open the green gate on Sundays between now and the week after Easter and I am asking that we keep the green gate open all of Semana Santa.
PLEASE! With all the hundreds of people descending on Costambar we should have our own road coming in and out. Its there its available, will the clickers we purchased still work? Then we would not need a guard at the gate.

It is wonderful to be able to use the green gate! Thank you to all who had the foresight of putting it in with the clicker, it wasn't me I was against it at first. I was wrong :-)
I wonder if while they are working on the main entrance road to Costambar we could extend the green gate hours in the evening? The outside road that runs alongside the Golf Course is awful, one has to take it to get to University Road without the Green Gate being open.

The Green Gate will open tomorrow at 8am. It will be opened between the hours of 8am and 8pm every day except Tuesday, when it will be shut all day. Please show your APC card, which proves you have paid your Dues, and your opener to the Guard, Manuel, who will then open the Gate for you.

We have received enough money now to hire two guards and give 12 hour service at the Green Gate from 8.00 am to 8.00 pm. Give us enough time to get the people in place. I'll check with Bethania tomorrow.

Maybe I wasn't clear. Claudia used the one for the Green Gate, which as we all know is now closed. I use the front gate which is still open. Some time ago Eddy Vallarino had one of his people drop off a clicker (#1) or so he said, for the Black Gate. He said it was for me personally. I have never used it and don't expect to. Surely there's nothing more to debate on that.

After sending the message to Suzanne, I spoke with Ron Moran and he had been speaking to Sandro. We are meeting in the office at 3.00 pm to see if we can't open the Green Gate sooner. I hope this satifies the interest. We want it open too.

We had to close the Green Gate because we were that short of money. We had to lay off several security guards, and you need one for the Green Gate. We have a clicker that Claudia uses, while I prefer the front gate. But with the money that is starting to come in we may be able to reopen the Green Gate. I suspect that will be for the next Board.

The maintenance company is still up and running with it's bills paid. A financial statement, and a budget for 2010 are ready to be presented. A new Board may not want to be saddled with decisions made by the previous Board so although its inconvenient possibly we should wait until February 6th.

You can raise that at the Town Hall Meeting set of January 25th, at 5.30 pm.

What can we do to re-open the green gate? With the incoming/outgoing roads being as bad as they are the green gate is extremely useful. I had purchased the clicker which is now useless but can become useful again.
