Its time to post something positive on this forum. Has anyone noticed that the stray dog population has been reduced of late? This provides for a more secure community with no more diseased and aggressive dogs roaming around.
All this has been achieved by the volunteer group Amigos de 4 patas, headed by Carolina Beltran and Stephanie Kluke, which has been holding regular spey and neuter clinics for the last year. Many community members have contributed time and funds to assist this project and while much work still needs to be done, the results so far are encouraging and prove that this is the best way to go rather than the despicable habit of poisoning which is dangerous to human as well as animal health.
The program has now been extended to Cafemba and Javillar since these areas are where the problems overlap into Costambar.
If you see or have a dog issue, please get in touch withh AA4P and let us all work to resolve this issue completely. Also get involved to assist if you can.
See we can come together on some things!!!!
