Both Ken and myself have also thought the same.
Both houses closest to us also have dogs, I spoke to both of them and they say that my dogs are no problem at all.

The other night a man did tell me that if I cant control my dog ( Jake ) he would shoot me
Jake is hard to keep in hes from the street, although he likes all his home comforts now he is a free spirit
unlike my other dogs who are also from a street dog but we got them as puppies so this is the only life they know.

He will jump over the wall when ever he wants then return the same way,not now we have to keep him in or on a chain.
I am keeping all the dogs indoors now they can only go out when i have checked the garden.
I just hope whoever it is is caught and soon, the meat that they use is very fresh looks good i just hope its not left about where a child can get it.

I am sad to hear about what happened to your dogs.
I don’t understand why somebody would kill your dogs, because you don’t have that many neighbors that could feel disturbed if your dogs are barking. (and that shouldn’t be a reason to kill a dog either)
I was thinking about, that maybe somebody wants to rob your house.. I remember many years ago exactly that happened to some people I knew. They poisoned their dogs and then they broke into the house.
I don’t want to scare you, but maybe you should leave your dogs inside for a while and watch your home a little closer.
You have a restaurant and some people might think you have a lot of money in your home..

Yes thats him, Ken takes him to the beach every morning everybody comments on him he is so funny.

Sue is he the dog who runs back and forth on the Beach barking at the ocean? That is the cutest thing :-) Who could not love that dog. Sorry you are having the poisoning problem that is so awful.

Ok up date on the poison
Bonnie is going to be ok thank goodness, she is still not feeling 100% but getting there.
Now for the next bit, this morning when I left for work it was raining so I left the dogs indoors,
I would not do this as a rule but they were all sleeping so I decided to leave them in.

I returned home just after 12 noon only to find more poison in my garden, I think that we can now assume that we are the target
but that does not mean that your dogs could not become the next target !!!!!!!!!!!
Jake is a dog who adoped us at the Anchor and I am pretty sure he is the one they are after
he is in the cafe by day but found where we live so now resides here with us when the cafe is closed.

He is one of the sweetest dogs ever all who meet him fall for his charms,I asked Blanco to see if he and Dr Bob could re-home him away from Costambar, but I have now had a re-think and hes going nowhere.
Why should I be intimidated into getting rid of a dog that I love dearly?
We are training him and his manners are getting better all the time,

This evening around 8.30 one of my dogs started to shake and was having problems standing.
We did what we have been advised to do if we think one or all of the dogs have been poisoned,
we mixed egg white salt and milk together put it into a pipet and forced it down her,
we then called the vet out (Blanco) he was here in minuets.
Ken searched the Garden and found one chewed bag and one full bag of meat.
It could be that we were the target but please all be aware that its happening again.
I just hope that we got Bonnie in time and that she will be ok will keep you posted.
I was sat outside at the time it must have been thrown over from the golf course but saw nothing.
This was not aimed at street or beach dogs this was over my garden wall.

Blanco said that the egg,milk,and salt will always make a animal vomit dont know if this helps at anyone
